About Xinalani
our exclusive eco-retreat centre

Xinalani means seeds in nahuatl. Each detail of this environment has been intentionally cultivated to help you plant seeds of change.

Xinalani is set amongst 10 acres of pristine vegetation on a private 250-yard-beach. You'll have tons of privacy and breath-taking views from all of our facilities, from the rooms to the yoga studios and spa. With 33 eco-chic rooms and beach casitas, six stunning yoga spaces, a temazcal (ancient sweat lodge), beach club, lounge bar, sand terrace, oceanfront spa, and a restaurant for yogis, Xinalani is a sanctuary of wellness and serenity.

As a sustainable eco-resort, our property is a sanctuary for wildlife. Our privileged location in the heart of the jungle and on the beach blesses us with the companionship of humpback whales, bottled-nose dolphins, iguanas, and birds such as parakeets, parrots, macaws, and woodpeckers.

Xinalani's team share the values of ethical and empathetic hosting, offering genuine and warm service to all retreat guests. They are united by their vision and fiercely committed to making Xinalani a sustainable retreat destination for generations of conscious travellers.

What makes Xinalani unique?

  • A Waterfront Refuge | Our 250-yard-wide private beach is accessible only by boat.

  • Wellness Rituals | Enjoy enriching wellness experiences, like massages, beauty treatments and Temazcal (Pre-Hispanic sweat lodge).

  • You Are What You Eat | Unique Mexican culinary experience tailored with local organic ingredients. Our kitchen motto is healthy, Mexican, and gourmet. Happily accommodating vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets.

  • Pool, Beach Club, & Bar | Soak up the sun on our beach terrace and pool, relax in our hammocks or grab a kayak and explore the coastline. Enjoy our bar lounge, the perfect place to enjoy music and meet new people. Whether you’d like to wake up with a cappuccino, rehydrate with fresh coconut water, or unwind with a glass of wine or a cocktail, you’ll love this oceanfront palapa.

  • Beautiful Rooms and Casitas | All of our rooms and Casitas have spectacular ocean views and many feature elegant draped mosquito nets, open air showers, hammocks and other cozy comforts immersed in nature.

  • Unique Yoga Studios | Surrounded by nature and with inspiring design. We have two  gorgeous palm-thatched, organic bamboo flooring yoga spaces nestled in lush jungle overlooking the ocean; an inspiring aerial yoga studio, a greenhouse, a hot yoga studio and a sand terrace for practicing yoga facing the beach.

Nourishment
from the inside out

Eating is an act of celebration at Xinalani. We cook with love, and believe that every meal should be an opportunity to nourish both body and soul.

After all, food is one of the main sources of prana: the vital life energy that fuels our physical and mental wellbeing.

We take great pride in our food. You'll be served from a menu that's designed for yogis and people who care about health and fitness.

We offer vegan and gluten-free options at every meal. Our other healthy and delicious options include eggs, fish, seafood and chicken (but no red meat or pork).
